TO AMEND THE ARKANSAS OCCUPATIONAL LICENSING OF UNIFORMED SERVICE MEMBERS, VETERANS, AND SPOUSES ACT OF 2021.: SB 193

Significant update to previously passed Arkansas legislation enabling servicemembers and military spouses automatic Arkansas licensure for their out of state occupational licenses. With passage of Act 137 (had been SB 193), Arkansas Code Section 17-4-107 now includes veterans as allowed to access similar licensure process. Also, mandates occupational licensing boards allow the use of national certifications when considering initial applications for licensure.
