Assisting state agencies to Identify Veterans.:

CT Statute: Sec 27-102L (c)(2) requires VA to interviews at hospitals and nursing homes to identify veterans. They have training session with other social services agencies to educate them on the military lifestyle. All social services agencies use the American Academy of Nursing pamphlet asking Have you ever served during intake. They then link them to a Veteran Service Organization or State Veterans Affairs office.
