An act concerning the enrollment of children of members of the Armed Forces in public schools and the establishment of a Purple Star School Program: HB6483

Public Act No. 21-86 allows members of the Armed Forces to establish residency in Connecticut for the purposes of public school enrollment using military orders or other suitable documents. The Act further provides for the creation of a statewide Purple Star School Program, where the State Department of Education shall designate any school that meets the program criteria.
