Enhanced Licensing: HB 2208

The bill authorizes a licensed out-of-state physician with a telemedicine waiver issued by the State Board of Healing Arts (BOHA) to practice telemedicine in Kansas. The bill also amends the disciplinary authority of the BSRB and modifies licensure and temporary permit requirements of professional counselors, social workers, marriage and family therapists, addiction counselors, psychologists, and master’s level psychologists.
