Occupational licenses of military families: HB 613

This bill enhances Louisiana Revised Statute 37:3651. In addition to military members and spouses, military dependents plus DoD civilian employees and their spouse/dependents can also apply who hold a current and valid occupational license in another state for at least one year in an occupation with a similar scope of practice and satisfy specified requirements. The board will provide a written decision regarding the occupational license within 30 calendar days after receiving an application.
