Veterans Court Program Treatment Act: SB-532

Enacts specific sections of Chapter 33-B of Title 13 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes to provide for the creation of a specialized court known as the Veterans Court program in the criminal justice system to assist veterans in reducing the incidence of crimes committed as a result of alcohol and drug use/addiction and mental health issues in order to reduce recidivism among veterans and provide them with the assistance they need and deserve.
