Senator Dawn Gile and Delegate Andrew Pruski sponsored legislation to create the Maryland Commission on Veterans and Military Families, which will study and report on areas involving military families including child care, economic development, food security, and suicide prevention to the Department of Veterans and Military Families. The Commission's membership roster includes a military spouse and members of military service organizations and was introduced at the request of Governor Wes Moore.
