Juvenile Court - Concurrent Jurisdiction - Juvenile Offenses on Military Installations: HB 749

Governor Wes Moore signed legislation sponsored by Delegate Charlotte Crutchfield and Senator Michael Jackson provides state statutory authority to establish concurrent jurisdiction involving violations of federal law by a child on a military installation and assimilate them into state law. The legislation also clarifies the formal retrocession process for the Fort George G. Meade Military Reservation.
