Military Spouse Teacher Certification: HB 30

Section 2 of NM HB 30 (2020) amends New Mexico Statute 22-10A-12.1 regarding Expedited and Temporary Licensure. It adds that the New Mexico Public Education Department will process an application \"no later than 30 days\" after receipt. Also in addition to satisfying the requirements for the renewal of the license, the applicant shall not be charged a licensing fee for the first three years a license is valid.
