AN ACT RELATING TO BUSINESSES AND PROFESSIONS -- COUNSELING COMPACT: SB 2183

This act adopts a counseling compact for the interstate practice of licensed professional counselors with the goal of improving public access to professional counseling services in Rhode Island. This act will further provide for the uniformity of professional counseling license requirements throughout the United States to the benefit of professional counselors, to include military spouses.
