SB 422

SB 422 amends Sec 55.004 of the Occupations Code to expand licensure reciprocity to both military spouses and service members. In addition, SB 422 codified the requirement to verify licenses within 30 days of applying for a license. Takes affect on 1 Sept 2023, with a requirement that agencies shall implement the new requirements NLT 1 Dec 2023.
