Governor Glenn Youngkin signed legislation prohibiting discrimination in apprenticeship programs on the basis of a person's military status. Virginia also provides protections in public accommodations, employment, and housing, to active duty and members of the reserve and guard component, along with their spouses and dependents, by prohibiting discrimination in public accommodations, employment, and housing. Virginia also prohibits requiring military families to waive their rights under the Service Members Civil Relief Act in any rental agreement.
