Idaho has no waiting list for Medicaid services. Military families, who have lived out of the State, receive equal opportunity as those families who have remained in the State to obtain services.

The Purple Star Award recognizes schools that show a major commitment to students and families connected to our nation’s military. A school will be honored with the Purple Star Award if it completes all the required activities and one optional activity. Representatives from Idaho’s State Council will decide a school’s eligibility for the award.

Adds to and amends existing law to provide for advance enrollment in or registration at a public school or charter school by dependents of military members.

Allows for the occupational licensure and academic credit for servicemember training and experience.
