Ensure Extracurricular Access Final Legislation
Nonpublic, public chartered school, or home educated pupils in New Hampshire have access to curricular courses and cocurricular programs offered by the school district in which the pupil resides. According to New Hampshire statute, cocurricular means those activities which are designed to supplement and enrich regular academic programs of study, provide opportunities for social development, and encourage participation in clubs, athletics, performing groups, and service to school and community. Home education families must keep an annual portfolio of work with a subsequent submission of that portfolio for annual evaluation, with no set timeline to meet home education requirements. Home education specific statute can be found at RSA 193 A:6 - https://www.gc.nh.gov/rsa/html/XV/193-A/193-A-6.htm
