However, New Hampshire took a step in the wrong direction on military spouse licensure by repealing the emergency medical services personnel licensure interstate compact (REPLICA) in the same law.

New Hampshire became the 15th state to join the Counseling Compact, which provides near instant reciprocity for licensed professionals as the transition in and out of states.

The nurse licensure compact is adopted and entered into with all other jurisdictions that legally join the compact.

This bill enacts the adoption of the psychology interjurisdictional compact (PSYPACT).

Governor Sununu signed the Social Work Licensure Compact on July 3, 2024; The purpose of this Compact is to facilitate interstate practice of Regulated Social Workers by improving public access to competent Social Work Services. The Compact preserves the regulatory authority of New Hampshire to protect public health and safety through the current system of State licensure.

Nonpublic, public chartered school, or home educated pupils in New Hampshire have access to curricular courses and cocurricular programs offered by the school district in which the pupil resides. According to New Hampshire statute, cocurricular means those activities which are designed to supplement and enrich regular academic programs of study, provide opportunities for social development, and encourage participation in clubs, athletics, performing groups, and service to school and community. Home education families must keep an annual portfolio of work with a subsequent submission of that portfolio for annual evaluation, with no set timeline to meet home education requirements. Chapter 24 authorizes witness fee reimbursement for a parent in the armed forces who represents themself at a special education hearing and prevails. Witness fees incurred by parents who are members of the armed forces shall, in due process hearings, be reimbursed by the department of education if the hearing officer finds in favor of the parent.

The New Hampshire Department of Education Integrates the MSI as a reportable demographic within statewide longitudinal data systems. The MSI data reports are publicly shared and are accessible on the DOE website, by district, through their iReport platform.

Pursuant to Chapter 55 of Public Law 2025, The adjutant general shall provide current and former members of the national guard who were the victims of sexual assault or sexual harassment while members of the national guard with financial assistance when the victims participate in adverse administrative proceedings or New Hampshire code of military justice proceedings related to the sexual assault or sexual harassment. The financial assistance shall cover the reasonable expenses incurred from traveling to and from those proceedings. This section does alter or expand a victim’s right to participate in those proceedings. Additionally, military protective orders may shall be admissible evidence in proceedings under Chapter 110 of NH RSA.
