Ensure Extracurricular Access Final Legislation
Wyoming Statutes § 21-4-506 Wyoming school districts must allow resident students who are not enrolled full-time (such as homeschooled or private school students) to participate in official high school activities, as long as the student is not suspended or expelled. Participation is subject to these conditions:
The student must pay any official fees required by the Wyoming High School Activities Association (WHSAA).
The school may charge a participation fee, but it cannot be more than the fee charged to full-time students. No tuition or other extra fees can be charged.
The student must follow all the same rules and policies as any other student participating in the activity.
